Shea Roy

I was a MPH student from 2018-2020 and absolutely loved my time at TAMU. I was the president of the Texas A&M Public Health Student Association and worked for the National CHW Training Center. My favorite memories include making amazing lifelong friends that laughed with me before, during, and after class and shared their lives with me. My amazing teachers grew my love of health policy, and currently, I am halfway through my PhD in Health Policy & Management at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I had many amazing professors and mentors, but Dr. Gerard Carrino and Erin Schneider took the time to know me personally and touched me with their empathy and care. I will always remember my time at SPH as pivotal in my growth as a person and professional. My ideas were strengthened and my value as a healthcare researcher increased monumentally. I am so thankful for the staff, professors, and fellow TAMU SPH students and friends!
