Driven by Passion and Purpose to Keep the Public Safe

We are training future public health professionals at the same time our faculty are showing what leadership in a crisis looks like by providing Texans – and the rest of the world – accurate guidance on the pandemic. In public health we focus on improving and protecting community health and well-being with an emphasis on prevention among large groups of people. We identify the causes of disease and injury, and we implement large-scale solutions.
