Accreditation

The Texas A&M University School of Public Health, a member of the Texas A&M University Health Science Center, is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health. These schools prepare students for entry and advancement into careers in public health.  This accreditation covers our bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The school has been accredited since 2001, and our next accreditation site visit will occur before July 1, 2026.

The Texas A&M School of Public Health Master of Healthcare Health Administration (MHA) is also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). CAHME is the benchmark standard for health care management education. The MHA has been accredited since 2008, and received re-accreditation in 2019 for the maximum allowed seven years..
