The MHA Resident Track is for students who are beginning their career in health administration. The program builds upon the core disciplines in public health, preparing students for competitive opportunities post-graduation.
The 55-credit hour Resident Track curriculum can be completed in 21 months (full-time) or 33 months (part-time) on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas. The curriculum also includes a required 10-week summer practicum that allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a wide range of health services organizations.
The program embraces the ethic and philosophy that health services managers must provide leadership in attending to the interests of the populations their organizations serve.
Resident Track graduates have developed successful careers as managers and leaders across the health care industry spectrum including hospitals, physician offices and groups, clinics, nursing homes, health insurers, consulting firms, and trade associations.
