Tackling Critical Environmental Health Issues

Our career-relevant, Master of Public Health in Environmental Health is a distance education stem program is designed for two groups of students:  professionals aiming to advance public health solutions by identifying and mitigating hazards through research, regulatory enforcement, public education, and policy development and recent college graduates or those with a limited background in environmental health who want a credential to break into the career field. Graduates of this Master's degree in Environmental Health online program are prepared to serve in high-impact areas from regulatory compliance to consumer safety monitoring and managing environmental exposures that could impact health.

Degree Details

The Master's in Public Health Environmental Health online is a 45-credit-hour program with a flexible curriculum. Graduates of this program complete courses such as Risk Assessment, Hazardous Materials Management and Compliance, and Project Management in Health Systems, which prepare them to serve in high-impact areas from regulatory compliance to consumer safety monitoring and managing environmental exposures that could impact health.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible to apply to the online Master of Public Health in Environmental Health program, applicants must:

  • be a United States citizen or U.S. permanent resident
  • hold a U.S. bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the program.
