Our career-relevant, Master's in Public Health in Environmental Health online program is designed for two groups of students. The first are recent college graduates or those with a limited background in how environmental factors like air, water, and soil quality affect human health who want a credential that will allow them to break into careers in the field. The second consists of working professionals interested in pursuing a specialized approach to advancing solutions in public health through identifying and mitigating potential hazards by conducting research, enforcing regulations, educating the public and developing policies to protect people from environmental risks. Essentially, working to ensure a safe and healthy environment for communities by monitoring and managing environmental exposures that could impact health. Graduates of this Master's degree in Environmental Health online program complete the OSHA Hazard Waste Operation and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) Certification and serve in high-impact areas from regulatory compliance to consumer safety.

A limited number of Texas A&M SPH scholarship awards are issued each year to incoming graduate students. The average scholarship award ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 per academic year. An eligible nonresident graduate student receiving a competitive scholarship of at least $1,000 for the academic year may qualify for a nonresident tuition waiver—an exemption from paying nonresident tuition, which significantly reduces the cost of attendance.
