Graduates of this Master's degree in Environmental Health online program complete the OSHA Hazard Waste Operation and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) Certification and serve in high-impact areas from regulatory compliance to consumer safety.

Admission Requirements  

To be eligible to apply to the online Master's in environmental health program, applicants must:    

  • have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0;  
  • be a United States citizen or U.S. permanent resident; and  
  • hold a U.S. bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the program.  

Scholarships and Tuition Waivers 

A limited number of Texas A&M SPH scholarship awards are issued each year to incoming graduate students. The average scholarship award ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 per academic year.  An eligible nonresident graduate student receiving a competitive scholarship of at least $1,000 for the academic year may qualify for a nonresident tuition waiver—an exemption from paying nonresident tuition, which significantly reduces the cost of attendance.
