Morgan Kassabian

Morgan Kassabian is pursuing a PhD in Health Services Research at the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of New Hampshire at Manchester, as well as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) certifications. Her professional experience includes partnering with hospital leaders to develop capital and strategic plans, working throughout organizations to improve quality and patient safety, and overseeing data analysis activities. She is acutely interested in rural health, and rural hospital closures, access to care, health outcomes, and antimicrobial resistance in particular.  She currently works as a Research Assistant at the TAMHSC Southwest Rural Health Research Center, providing support with data analysis and visualization, writing for academic journals, and preparing grant applications.
