Incoming Classes

1998: Inaugural class of 23 graduate students.

2022: Incoming graduate class of more than 100 students in fall 2022.

Research Poster

2012: Annual student research poster competition.

2023: 18th Jean Brender Student Research Poster & Symposium held during National Public Health Week.

Name Change

2011: From 1998 until 2013, the name of the school was School of Rural Public Health.

2013: Faculty voted to change remove "rural" from the name of the school to the Texas A&M School of Public Health.

Graduation Day

2000: Dean Ciro Sumaya presenting diploma to one of the school’s first graduates, Jennifer Griffith.

2022: Dean Shawn Gibbs presents diploma to Tasmiah Nuzhath in August 2023.

Tailgate

2012: SPH Tailgate held out the buildings.
