On behalf of the school, congratulations on entering the final semester of your curriculum at SPH! To help you prepare for graduation, please review the information below for the required forms and deadlines.
You must file an application for degree before you can graduate. Students planning to graduate must submit the graduation application online in the Howdy portal. The application for spring 2025 graduation application opens December 16, 2024 and the last day to apply online to avoid a late fee is February 14. The last day to submit an application for graduation in Howdy is March 26. The last day to apply is April 29. In addition, Texas A&M provides a Graduation Checklist, which upcoming graduates are strongly recommended to review and complete the necessary steps.
Commencement
Undergraduate Students in the School of Public Health
Commencement for all undergraduate students in the School of Public Health will be Thursday, May 8 at 7:00 PM in Reed Arena.
Master's and Doctoral Degree Commencement and Hooding
Commencement and hooding ceremony for all graduate students (master's and doctoral) in the School of Public Health will be either Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 PM in Reed Arena.

In recognition of your graduation we invite you to attend the SPH Graduation Celebration. The celebration will be held at the School of Public Health, at 212 Adriance Lab Road. The date and time will be announced as soon as commencement is announced. Please bring your friends and family to meet faculty, staff and administration. You will also be able to collect your graduation gift from the School as well as have photo taken. An official invitation will be sent via email at a later date.
The school compiles data on employment plans of our graduates for CEPH accreditation requirements. Personal information will be kept confidential and is only used for statistical purposes. Individual student data will not be published or shared. The survey will be sent to students' TAMU and exchange email accounts directly.
