The SPH Health & Wellness Committee launched its first Student Ambassador Program during the 2018-2019 school year. This program is a one-year commitment with the option to be reconsidered for further participation in the program in the succeeding academic year. Students in the Ambassador program will gain knowledge in communication, leadership, health promotion and research.
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Participate in Health & Wellness work group(s) to promote and communicate events and/or conduct research with a faculty, staff, program coordinator or preceptor.
Represent the Health & Wellness Committee at research, recruiting, school, outreach and interprofessional education events
Give presentations to students organizations
Serve as a liaison between SPH, Health & Wellness Committee, and nearby communities
Eligibility Requirements
If you are a student and are interested in participating as a student ambassador, we invite you to complete this application. To be eligible, you must be:
a degree seeking student at the School of Public Health or currently seeking a public health minor
in good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher)
