As part of the National Public Health Week initiative of the American Public Health Association (APHA), the School of Public Health (SPH) will host a research symposium to celebrate faculty and student contributions to research.
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to participate in the Poster Contest to highlight their most current and relevant research projects. To participate, students must complete an application that requires the submission of an abstract.
Awards will be available for the three best presentations in each category. In addition, the best undergraduate and the top two graduate presentations will be invited to compete at the annual Delta Omega APHA conference.
Eligibility: All SPH students are eligible to participate. Students from other departments are welcome to register but will not be considered for the awards.
Authorship: Students should be the first author and their PI should approve the work prior to presentation.
IRB: Students should work with their advisor to ensure all human subjects compliance requirements have been met.
Registration deadline is February 28th.
