Student Research Poster Contest

Each year, SPH sponsors an annual poster session and contest to coincide with Public Health Week (the first week in April) to highlight the many research, outreach, training, and service activities at SPH. The winning student entries receive an award and are invited to participate in the Delta Omega supported Student Poster Contest held during the annual APHA conference. Many SPH alumni have participated in this prestigious event.

Eligibility: All SPH students are encouraged and eligible to participate.
Timeline: A call for posters will be sent out in February by the Office of Research to SPH students.
Guidelines: Slide format or professionally printed posters will be accepted. Posters should be current (i.e., prepared within the last year). Posters prepared for conferences held throughout the year are acceptable. Additional guidelines outlining the format/content requirements will be provided with the call for posters.
Authorship: Eligible students should be the first author.
IRB: Students should work with their respective advisors/project Principal Investigators to ensure all human subjects compliance requirements have been met.
