Biography
Tom Wilkinson is the current executive director of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) and has served in this capacity since 1993. He has also served as president of the Brazos Valley Affordable Housing Corporation, in a non-salaried capacity. From 1991-1992, he was assistant executive director of the BVCOG. Prior to joining the organization, Wilkinson was president of the Burleson County Savings Association of Caldwell from 1981-1991.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973 from Texas Tech University and his Master of Public Administration in 1995 from Texas A&M University. He also took real estate courses at the University of Texas and the Institute of Financial Education, both in Austin.
