A native of Pennsylvania, Angela pursued her bachelor at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While obtaining her degree, she held several leadership positions including President of the Health Information Student Association and the College of Public Health Representative on Temple Student Government Parliament. While at Temple University, Angela coordinated the annual career fair for her department and assisted in the creation and passing of a bill that called for the university to educate their students about the life-saving drug Narcan. Angela was also honored with the Human Relations Award by her peers and academic department. After her graduation, she worked at the corporate office for Universal Health Services, Inc. as an Application Analyst Intern in their Clinical Documentation Department. Her role was to support the functionality of clinical documentation in Cerner Millennium for 26 acute care hospitals across the nation. During her free time, she likes to catch up with friends, read, and run.
