Awards, Recognition and Service
- Dr. Delgado-Rendon has over 16 years of combined experience in clinical diagnostics, community research, and program evaluation and currently is based in McAllen at the Texas A&M Higher Education Center. She has worked on community-based participatory research projects with Spanish-speaking populations in Wisconsin. During her time working at the Centro de la Comunidad Unida, she worked on several health areas of priority for Hispanics in the U.S. Dr. Delgado Rendón’s research has focused on entertainment education projects such as telenovelas and fotonovelas to educate communities about various health topics. Dr. Delgado Rendon is particularly passionate about serving the Hispanic community and teaching diverse populations.
